There is rarely consensus among the several private weather forecasters I see. Short term 7-10 days when a pattern is obvious they may be in best agreement. When 1-3 week patterns lock say in the Winter or Summer they may be in agreement. Seasonal forecasts looking 4-12 weeks out there is always significant variation. Except in the short term there are way to many variables for weather forecasts to predict accurately patterns for the whole USA or even a quadrant.
