it seems to me that they will at some point have to share in the pain. Indeed. And so be it. It's the government taking affirmative action to create some artificial level that I find wrongheaded and dangerous. Perhaps we are talking past each other. How it comes across to me is that either your sense of fairness is offended or you are just envious of and hostile to the better off. I could be reading you wrong but that's my sense of your message. If your message is only "that they will at some point have to share in the pain," then we agree. But, if that was your message, you sure clouded it with your rants about the earnings of your targets.
