Sounds like soylent green for beef etc! (VBG)

When I make the jerky I cut the flank steak into about 1/2 inch wide and 2-3 inches long pieces. The meat itself is what 1/2-5/8 inch think of so so that size works very well. You can buy a little chief smoker at some sporting good shops and it comes with smoking chips and a recipe booklet that has a great an easy recipe.
