Unfortunately the next real growth area in cell. phones and other electrical equipment is in South East Asia and India. If this area goes into a recession then TI will be hurt. I firmly believe in TI's future in the long term but the short term and the perceived (but not real) problem with DRAM will hinder TI's stock price. i will definitely buy more if it goes below 90 to 95.

-- I can't believe TXN is at these levels - $103 - this is like a 30% drop from a few weeks ago.

-- TXN should rebound nicely in tomorrow & in the days to come. As the overall market has only dropped 12%.

-- Also, the article you cite should bring along a nice push to the investors and analysts sitting on the fence.

-- Out.
