Here's the real mind boggler, at least for me. That light traveled 300,000,000 meters/second for 40 million years, and didn't hit anything until it struck the telescope. It also didn't lose any energy in all that time. By way of comparison, light from the sun travels about 8 minutes to reach us. That's a buttload of nothing! ;o)

SB, why does that picture prove anything about a creator? the fact that most self proclaimed "christians" come off as complete hypocrites was predicted by jesus. that reality supports the god of the bible, it doesn't renounce it. while the concept of god is not falsifiable, the god of the bible is. all humans need to do is to learn to live together in peace and harmony since the god of the bible predicted this will never happen until he directly intervenes just before "all flesh" is destroyed. as a side note, albert einstein died believing the physical universe was eternal and that the archaic book that proclaimed it didn't exist at some point in the past was 100% wrong. bible - 1 einstein - 0 the main message of the bible is to simply care about others equal to oneself or else big trouble happens over time.
