ALWAYS heard or sensed hubby was nearly home."

I've always wondered about that too. My dog could be sound asleep and immediately perk up and trot over to the front door with her tail wagging so hard I thought her rear end would fall off. Not a sign of any car up and down the street, but about 3 or 4 minutes later, the car would turn the corner and come down the street. How could she pick out his car among all the others out there?

Thank you for the kind words.

I don't think animals comprehend death the way we do, with the exception of mother animals who will risk death to defend their young.

I could be wrong, but I think Caesar is saying to himself "Gee, it sure is boring around here without my playmate."

We would like to have a playmate for Daisy, but we just can't handle another pet with the traveling that we do.
