The international rule is that the local law applies whenever another country requests for an extradition.

Switzerland just very recently as the only European country accepted to differ from that at the US request upon signing a new bilateral law basically aimed at tax fugitives.

I have no beef with the US IRS.
They recently came after me for having no taxable US income while still not defaulting on our mortgage in the currently predominant style of most US residents.

Took me some time to inform them, that I have income and tax that elsewhere according to any laws they could declare eligible.

Nice try, no news.
