On the other side of the coin. I have a dear friend who has been in the hospital for two months on intravenously fed antibiotics for pneumonosis..the worst form of pneumonia. She has an embolism in each lung too. She was on TWO blood thinners for these and started to bleed internally. I was in the ICU when she almost died with a hemoglobin of 2..and fighting to breath. It was awful. Most people do not survive that low figure. They saved her with blood transfusions. However her partner believes in prayer and has established a prayer chain. ( she is 86 ).. Two Doctors have said that Lois will not live. However as of this week she is recovering. Go figure...
