I don't know the exact timing of the events. I don't care for Beck's show because I found it boring; I don't think I've ever watched an entire episode. But I think the criticism of him is largely based on the fact that the show has become very popular, and it is on FNC, which stirs the left wing nutjobs up. The nutjobs go after anyone on FNC who develops a following. Just like O'Reilly, who is by any reasonable measure a pretty moderate voice.
