A few things in relationship with Chinese:
People recognize honesty and recognize dodgynness.

They have strong sense of hierarchy. Now they do not treat me anymore in a hierarchical manner.

They see ODEBRECHT, a Brazilian construction company, here and discovered that they work like Chinese.

Last I worked at a bridge side by side with the workers.

We had one day to get the stuff there. And the next day to lay.
Concrete would be poured and we would lose the chance to enter Luanda South.

Had we missed that it would have cost us a lot of money putting up overhedd cables and that means headache in the future. Everyone wanted that outcome because it would mean more money for them.

I told the Chinese we will enter by the bridge. They brought the stuff. But no people was available to lay piping. We worked for 5 hours to lay pipes as the redy mix trucks were held in the traffic.

3PM the cement was drying on top of the piping. Man my back aches!!!

He saw Brazilian foreman controlling 50 Angolans (not controlling but shouting dirty words and offenses) which is aceptable from a Brazilian because we have many negroes. (One foreigner do that here and he gets killed.)

I told him I can work harder than Chinese. The negroes were telling to me: "You are loco!"
