I AGREE.

When can religion , anyone's... whether agnosticism,atheism
etc. be discussed without it causing offensive insults...
and divisiveness. It's the latter that I really object to.

I like agnosticism. IMO it's the only rational choice- thought I really don't want to see agnostics mocking people from billboards either.

Radical hard-line atheism is as much a belief system as any religion, IMO, but most atheists are pretty quiet about their beliefs. I like the idea of "Freedom from Religion" though out of a sense of respect for others of different opinions.

Active evangelism of any kind is intrusive and insulting. Why should someone feel that they are entitled to challenge another person's most personal opinions, cultural basis and family traditions? I sure don't feel I have that right, nor do I extend it to them.

With that said, an advertising campaign on the mass transit system probably won't shape many opinions one way or another. It seems to be protected speech though.

A lifetime of comparative religion study has earned me these few personal insights:

1) Dogma is antithetical to religious experience.

2) "God" cannot be labeled or described without diminishing He/She/It.

3) Karma/As Ye Sow/What Goes Around is common to all religions because of its fundamental truth.

4) "God" responds to prayer/expectations/belief, sometimes dramatically, but more often, subtly.

5) People will believe what they believe. Leave them in peace.
