OMEGA EXPANDS JAZ FAMILY IN HONG KONG

HONG KONG, CHINA, 1997 OCT 28 (NB) -- By IT Daily. Iomega [NYSE:IOM]
has added the Jaz 2GB drive and 2GB disks, designed to hold more
"stuff."

The Jaz 2GB removable drive which includes a complete software suite,
provides twice the capacity and up to 40 percent higher performance
than the original Jaz drives. The 2GB drives are still compatible with
Jaz 1GB disks.

The disks are available for around HK$5,300 for an external model, and
$4,480 for the internal drive. Disks will rum for HK$1,180 each when
purchased in a 3-pack.

Iomega opened a Hong Kong office last September headed by country
manager Sandra Liu, to provide distribution and channel sales support
and customer service for the Special Economic Region (SAR) and the
Greater China region. The company also has offices located in Taipei,
Shanghai, Beijing, and plans to open up an office in Guangzhou in the
first quarter of 1998.
