The implication in such acknowledgements risks legitimizing false notions. But you don't have to go back into history, you can see for yourself the modern day propoganda if you dare to look. Where as, the ultimate basis for a system of knowing is personal. The universe is full of evidence that requires perspective on a personal level. Seek, striving first to see and gather essential knowledge as a consequence of being. This is a prerequisite for cause and consequence. Well, we do take perspective and rightly or wrongly we do attribute a value to human beings. What do we call a brutalized woman who's only choice to survive is unrewarding servitude, who eats when and what she is told to eat, who has no effective control over her depressing life, who's children... if any are aloud to live, live in squalor and will never know opportunity. A woman who will likely not know her own progeny passed the current generation. No family, no kin beyond the here and now, where she is the last of her generations for all practical purposes. What do we say when this is a typical cultural descriptor, the norm? We call her the result of the women's movement, and we take great pride in doing so but we avoid the truth at all costs ... was santi claus good to you last year?
