Prayers and good thoughts on the way. Losing a Mom is hard...and your friend will miss her often.

My Mom passed on 4 years ago now, and somedays, I have the feeling that I just want to pick up the phone and call her...But then, I know I can just talk and she will get the waves as they pass through the atmosphere...that makes me smile...she never did like the phone anyway <ggg>

Hard news, Josh. I'm sorry to hear from that and will offer up prayer.

I sat with my Mom her last full day on Earth and tried to communicate, but she was so morphed out I know she wasn't hearing me or really there. Nothing I could do was going to matter and thankfully she was definitely out of pain. She wanted it that way, so who was I to stand in the way.

The older I get, the more I look upon death as a natural progression, and although it hurts the ones left behind, we have our memories of the time we spent with our loved one to sustain us and get us through.

Denise doesn't know it now, but the passing of her DM will leave her stronger than she was before. Her Mother's last gift!
