RE:I wrote a somewhat long note on CYMI. My server went out when I tried to post it. Went out again the next time. I tried responding to posts and, no problem. Soon as I try to paste the other longer post...same thing...cut from my ISP?

An ISP will disconnect you automatically at times depending on local demand for service and how long your connection has been idle. Is there anything preventing you from reconnecting with your ISP while the browser is open and your post is still there? Feel free to email me if you want to troubleshoot your problem further.

I misunderstood, I thought you were trying to post a note here.

It could be your ISP kicking you out. I have approx. 15 minutes of inactive time then I'm goneeeeeee.

Good night.

Others - Thanks for the links to foreign info.

Re: server cutting off long posts. To: Bruce, Bob, etc. Nobody ever cuts off my posts. Maybe they're trying to tell you something.

JUST KIDDING! If I do a post or email that has taken me more than 10 minutes, I save it to a notepad file, which takes 15 seconds. Otherwise a disco might ruin your work. This is the best solution. Although usually emails will stay in RAM, and you can save posts on the clipboard, a software conflict will destroy either one of them for sure.
