I hope your friend is sure about his move to Hawaii. Several years ago, my wealthy cousin (my age) picked up everything they owned and moved to the big island. He had previously bought a large boat used for tourist day long fishing outings. By the time his containers of household belongings, including 2 cars arrived, he told the shipping company to put it all back on the boat. Shipped everything back to the mainland without even unpacking a thing. Claustrophobia of some sort. Both he and his wife felt it right away. Sold the boat and never went back.

Elk are almost a nuisance in the areas just west of Denver. Estes Park is nearly overrun by them... right downtown. They are considering ways to thin out the herd, other than hunting season, or in addition to it.
