"I live in Alaska. Great fishing out my front door."

Very nice. I was there 2 years ago and loved it.

"Bottom line: if you know you evolved from a mouse like creature 60 million years ago, and apes more recently, rather than believe a devine god put you here with instructions on how to live your life, then you will live your life differently."

Belief in God has a solid rational, scientific and evidential footing but that does not matter to beings who are blinded by an irrationality that is part of their fallen, evil, nature. Humans are not completely irrational; it's just that even our reasoning minds have been negatively effected by the fall. One of the reasons that there is hope for Humanity is that this fallen condition is not the way that it's always been. This means that there is at least a possibility to return to our original condition.

That we have the ability to "get ourselves, back to the garden" is a debatable question, but I suppose that depends on reconciling with the one who kicked us out in the first place.
