LEE, remember cpq's margins went up to 27.4%..
it was meathead saying 25%...
they wnet up with all those massive low cost pcs.
This is a research item.
the dealer's make 10-14% on the sub 1000 and sub 800 pc.
give me a model and I'll tell you how much.
I think cpq is making the same amt. plus they raise volumes and get all other purchase parts cheaper even though they farmed it out to FIC. The chip is low cost cyrx and the mb is assy in taiwan and then sent to austin to a hi-tech line for assy.
I think the split date is nov sometime. record of 10-31.
the jan 20 is for divy only.

TO REPEAT CPQ'S MARGINS ARE SKYROCKETING..22% TO 23% TO 24% TO 25% TO 27.4%...THIS IS UNBELEIVEABLE.. but the books are audited by
a great firm and they send out an army of kids that don't even have to shave yet to review the books ggggg.
NO MARGIN DECLINE>>> Mason even commented that margins are in great shape. can you post the stk split date..
