You must be thinking of the Thanksgiving in the US. Nov 11 unfortunately is another work day in Canada.

My apologies for jumping to conclusions! I did some research and went back to last years historical prices. Apparently the markets were open last year on Nov. 11th. Nonetheless, Remembrance Day is more than just a school holiday ... banks, government and business offices, etc, etc, will be closed.
