My hubby shot a deer once when we lived in Colo..........it was pretty good. He has/had been hunting since a kid (Vermont) and was taught the proper methods on dressing them after the kill shot (immediately).......hanging etc. I think it is the deer meat we've received from other hunters that really turned me off to it.

You guys are making me think twice about it. If the meat is handled properly (as described above) and combined with the right recipe..........I'm changing my mind about him bringing one home. Lord knows I don't want to spend any more money on meat than I have to in these tough times.

Have you ever been known to share that famous Chili recipe? ;)
