[Here is how I would respond to that inevitable racist charge. Did you notice the reference to ACORN's methodology?] It's not just ideology, Bertha, and you admitted that!!! It's the cheating, fraud and misuse of public funds that we object to. And we would object to your criminal misconduct regardless of color, creed, sex, or national origin. Personally, I'm an equal opportunity opponent of criminal organizations. Even if ACORN were not actually criminal from the top down, the fact that so many of its employees have been caught in criminal activity tells us that management must be utterly incompetent. So, Bertha, you're either an excellent crook or seriously incompetent. And no one is blaming your race for those shortcomings. It would be a better use of energy for the Chief Organizer to clean house than to engage in public petulance.
