I have alot of Dell and CPQ & would hate to think of selling at a target. But, since you asked, I would like to sell some Dell shares
at 110 and then hold the rest thru the split into next year. Wait and see how some options I have in Feb pan out, and who knows, buy new shares on dips. I feel kinda like a Warren Buffett, if the company management is good, the company strategy is sound, they are leaders in their industry; as long as the company is continuing to execute don't sell.
When I think of his book, I one company that fits that model is Dell. I am clearly not an expert, but Michael Dell knows how to make money, and I believe he has only started, it aint over yet.
CPQ is a totally different company, they have guts, I have to hand it to them. I am betting on CPQ because they are betting heavy in larger systems with Tandem it should help them there, and offset the $1k PC profit issue long term.
If they were heavier into the consumer I would be scared off from owning them for sure.My target was $85 but $100 is possible, it doesnt seem like it right now, but CPQ has alot of potential, just watch.
Good Trading.
