I have a friend that rides a Harley and he calls bikes like that "crotch rockets." I'm not sure if that is PC, but I sure couldn't stand to ride on one of those with my back. (not that I ever would)

It was probably 2 years ago that I seriously considered buying a Gold Wing. I made room in my single car garage for it and started shopping. A number of things changed my mind but not the least of it was how I'd get scheduled maintenance done. Living alone made it awkward to arrange someone to pick me up at the dealer, which is far from home. Sweet Shirley allowed as how I'd NEVER get her on "that thing" with me. So... I forgot the idea.
