Fellow on BNN was commenting how folks are getting comfortable with longer dated bonds.. (not sure if he specifically meant corporate) yet gold presently seems to be signaling inflation these last few days.. Kind of a dichotomy..

In real terms.. I just sold my high yield bond HYB.UN fund at a nice profit net of divvies as part of my recent cash raising ... Now I see nice bids consistently at and just under my sale price..

of course my plan was to buy it back a little cheaper, a little later.. These two trends seem to contradict each other ??
