The REAL catastrophe is looming. As the inflationary spiral takes off, the Fed is going to start tightening -- and they have said they're going to tighten fast and furiously.

Americans who remember what it was like at the end of the Carter years (and inherited by Reagan), know that there is very little that can destroy an economy in the way inflation (and the high interest rates that necessarily accompany it) will.

We could be in for a very rough ride over the coming months and years.

OMG, Obama didn't save us from anything. This "crisis" was really in no danger of becoming a "catastrophe"; the Fed has and will always take the necessary steps to ensure that.

This crisis WAS a catastrophe. Lending and trade had SHUT DOWN. How did you forget so fast?

Our involvement in Iraq was already on the decline, yet Obama is caught flatfooted with the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan.

We are accelerating our withdrawal. Afghanistan has been deteriorating FOR YEARS... under Bush who ignored the problems.

Health care "reform" is inevitable

It's been "inevitable" for 40 years.

Doing something about energy dependence? Don't make me laugh; even you can't believe that Obama is going to ween us off of foreign oil with solar, wind, and trains alone.

We've already raise CAFE standards dramatically... something that hadn't happened in decades. Next the contentious energy bill.

'Course everything is contentious with the Republicans who believe any American success during a Dem administration is bad for the Republicans and should be avoided at ALL COST.

Your guys are trying to sink Obama and the country with him.
