I have no idea when you're talking about, but in my lifetime no major economic boom has come about other than by cutting taxes.

You can go back as far as you want to. IN the 20s tax cuts created the boom of the early decade. FDR's socialist agenda prolonged the Depression. JFK's tax cuts started the 60s era boom. The failed economic policies of LBJ, Nixon, Ford & Carter, combined with the long-term result of FDR's socialism caused the worst economy since the depression. Reagan's tax cuts pulled it out and ran until Bush 41. In the late 90s, Clinton cut taxes and the economy took off.

Tax cuts cause economic progress, you dolt.
