Glenn, I wish I can communicate w/ you by E-mail. But I'd rather stay with this comm medium. It seems you'd be a good friend to have. You can always double check some of my info posted in the thread. There is always a lag time between the announcement of a new product and when it is actually shipped in sufficient quantity to end customers (not reseller or distr. channels) assuming that there is no defect or perf problem in HW and SW which conforms to different international standards. Interoparability is also important. This is the trick of the trade. Vapor ware has been rampant in the SW and HW business. CSCO's AS5300 is no exception. Do we really think AS5300 is trouble-free and conforming to many different international stds ? Think again for it is a new product fresh from the lab.
