And yet the analysts don't bash Cisco's products in the least. One would believe that Cisco's products are perfect from the start... The magnitude of distrust of even dislike of Ascend on the part of the analyst community is quite large. I conceded that this is true. But remember, analysts and MMs don't dislike the money when they think the market has recovered and ASND mgmt comes out with excellent forward-looking statement and there is money to be made, a lot of money. That's how Eric changed the investment community's perception of 3COM when it was in the trough.
