Well, Tenchu, it has been estimated that the stimulus created or saved 1 million jobs, +/-. Granted, some of the estimates put the number lower, around 650k. Still, the fact of the matter is the stimulus has helped moderate the increase in unemployment. "Just like Obama's failure to win the 2016 Olympics for Chicago." Now this one is humorous. The only ones who were predicting that Obama would actually win it for Chicago were the ones on the right. The same ones who rejoiced when Chicago lost. Obama had a huge task in front of him, US restrictions on tourists and other travel restrictions made the IOC very leery about a US host for 2016. The wingnuts heads would have exploded if Obama had pushed to have those eased.
