Great points Michael, can you give me your thoughts on the price between now and COMDEX? Thanks in advance

<<In my opinion, this stock has nowhere to go but down. (That certainly doesn't mean that it will, though...)>>

Syqt is still a momentum/speculative trading stock and will continue to be for awhile, IMO. In which case, you're probably right, Michael, that the price won't necessarily tank tomarrow. I actually think it will open higher and then sink lower.

Re: Syquest (Earnings)

Michael, I enjoyed reading your comments on the earnings news. I agree with most of them. Here are a few of my own:

Some will attempt to put a positive spin on the report, but no matter how you cut it, $25.9 million in revenue reflects a poor showing.

Like each quarterly report for the past couple years, Syquest continues to lose millions, offers a couple of excuses as to why, announces they won't be profitable next quarter, reports more shares outstanding, and then provides a good dash of powerful hope for the future.

But... which investor really cares about this earnings report? Probably not the one who currently owns shares, since it would be almost impossible to argue holding SYQT based on value, financials or fundamentals. What I believe is important here is perception.

Simply, the EdHeads are running a beaten down underdog company, in a rapidly expanding market and are about to introduce some new products with potential that is rumored to be very exciting. In addition, the stock is cheap, has a history of upside volatility, and everyone loves an underdog.

As long as there exists this strong belief that Syquest has a chance of selling their drives like hotcakes, then little else will make a difference while the stock continues to be bid up, (and who knows, the drives might just be smash hits).

So, I won't fight it, I can't. I'll simply trade the stock in and out on news and whenever opinions and emotions run high, however at the end of the day, I won't own any of this dog.

Regards - Dale
