We're already hearing from some high-ranking Republicans that we shouldn't do that. That's helping the president," he said. And God forbid the Republicans should help the President help the country! It's Party before Country... always. Putting the country before the party is blaspheme for a Republican. And when the Dems do put country before party....as they do all too frequently....the Rs see them as being weak. This lack of party leadership is causing all kinds of unexpected reverberations that aren't helping the GOP brand at all.
