At 8 PM NY time my Quotrek flashed that NOVL had a news release, I can't find out what that release is so I checked over on AOL and a guy said he heard on Chicago radio that a takeover bid was made for NOVL. Can anyone check this out?

Thanks

Bernie

Hi George. I'm doing fine with CPQ. I have an extremely low cost-basis on CPQ so there's no problem there (other than excessive greed <g>). I did sell some of the position this week to get some money off the table though. Dell is taking a 5 point hit for me (right now), but I fully expect it to hit a target of 100. Alex.Brown did a real number on it (and Compaq) yesterday, but a number of the other "big boys" held their buy ratings on it. I'm not concerned.

Will I stick around? Yeah, I probably will <too many good people here...<g>> Hell, once I get the numbers "straight", I may (MAY) even try something again (sorta like Paul is contemplating).

Sooner or later it'll break --- and I still believe the break will be the "break up".

Thanks for the heads up.

Regards,

Joe...
