The economy did go bad and some of the loans have turned to garbage. on the plus side is that they have reduced non recourse debt to below $100 million so it looks like at least bankruptcy is off the table. should the economy recover valuation could certainly approach nav of $7.66, assuming that nav is real. you are right about lending though , they have no money for increasing lending and i imagine many bdc-s are in the same boat.
