I remember early on, I think it may have been in a CC after the earnings before they merged, that Mory said something that left no doubt that he thought of it as an aquisition. I was thinking at the time that this was a little arrogant. Maybe a little more diplomacy then might have been in order. If those attitudes worked their way into the transition, then rather than teamwork, they may have drifted into left and right coast camps, with the left coast camp thinking themselves better. I hope this isn't true. Many more bad reports like this could begin to erode shareholder value.

I don't think this is true. The only thing that has happened is that at CSCC the ASCEND logo is up, and they hav moved to another building. Yup, there was some turnover because of cancellations (Cascades RAS server got canned). Yup, managers were laid off (overheads) which comes with every takeover.. Apart, from this CSCC has been digested 8/10 by Ascend.... Let's not start rumors on this thread. Substantiate it. Secondly, don't we have enough gloom and doom on this thread.. This is the time to buy... Have fun. Mory or no Mory who cares. The products and the markets the products cater to speak for themseveles (ATM,RAS). So, what if there is a stumble of too.. It's part of growing up. Don't babies fall when learning ot walk?. This is exactly what went on in the COMS thread when INTC cut prices, and COMS tanked. It takes a lot of &&&&& to sit through this on... At 26.xxx I can buy Ascend on my credit card.... Regards, Immi
