"The sad thing (for you) is that you apparently know who and what you are rejecting"

I'm rejecting primitive nonsense. And I am embracing the clean air and serene freedom that comes from walking through the woods and the valleys unburdened by superstitious fears and irrational goblins. I am embracing an upright stance and the clean sunlight of reason. I take wisdom and counsel from great writers of profound intellect. I have no time for the stupid and infantile writing sourced in Joshua or Daniel--or any of the others.

If one is to honor genocide and heroes of low character and repulsive aspect (such as Jehovah), then one might just as well grow a tail and get back on all fours...

<The basic doctrines of Christianity are not that complex.>

No, especially when you can't discuss them.

<The rub comes, when one who claims to be a follower of Jesus the Messiah actively denies one of the major planks that uphold the gospel like the divinity of Jesus, the bodily resurrection or substitutionary atonement.>

"" actively denies one of the major planks that uphold the gospel ""

But you see, these are virtually ALL topics of discussion since the time of Christ. So your continued assumption that YOU KNOW what they mean and OTHERS DONT is really quite infantile. You're essentially saying "I know better than you... listen to ME".

OUCH!

<BTW: Atheists don't need to take drugs to render them stupefied. They are that way naturally. ;)>

Actually, anyone who just can't imagine a version of god that they would deny, and therefore understand (just enough to stop judging people for once) at least somewhat how one would be "atheist" towards such god are the ones who are "that way naturally".
