he wants somethng to pass. same as most republicans.. but their admendments are shut out. the quotes do not show support of the bill only work on something to get better health care.. you can read into that... competition between insurance companies in states, remove tort, etc

you read he supports obama.. wrong. he supports discussion and comprimise which democrats are unwilling to do.

Sorry a quick Google didn't reveal the full text of his remarks.

There is nothing in what you posted to indicate he likes the administration/House version. As for the Senate Finance Committee's version, he damned it with faint praise. He's trying to get Republicans involved with the final shaping. He thinks it's the best vehicle available if you want to participate. Saying that it's an important vote doesn't mean anything in and of itself. I think it's a critical vote, too.

You can't get out of Dole's remarks as reported anything more than he wants reform to happen and he wants it to be bipartisan.
