There is that. If he hadn't gone to bat for Chicago in the Olympic bidding, they'd have crucified him for having no pride in his home city. No matter what he does, they hate him.

Of course, in some places/threads, they hate him for purely speculative things. Kind of the reverse of today's award.

Hillary would have made the righties just as crazy, I think.
