Personally, I doubt that they can put together a good socialized system. When I work, I can see the difference between calling a specialist who is in private practice - and one who is employed by a hospital or a large group. The first will get his teeth into the case and give it full attention, and thank me for having faith in him and for thinking about him. The latter will tell me - "Do me a favor, I had a long day, the next guy will start taking calls in an hour, please call him". And you know what? If he does see that consult, he won't bother coming back for follow up, unless I drag him back. Socialist attitudes are a pain in the a$$.
