I agree that it has been the peace peace prize in a long time. I think it always has been a waste of $1M anyway.

I mean, let's be serious, do we really want peace with al-qaeda? I don't. Unless peace means that they either stay in Afghanistan and never bother us again or we obliterate them. I suppose that's a peace I could live with.

I think the "peace at all costs" philosophy is pathetic...and frankly, suicidal.

I think you are right...Nobel Appease Prize is much more appropriate.

it's officially jumped the shark though and will from here on out be know as

the nobel appease prize


Turns out this was all the result of a difficult with the English language. Some on the Nobel Committee thought they were awarding the Speech prize.
