Let me be clear: I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments." ..... (as for the 2nd comment he doesn't deserve to be in the company of some because he hasn't done anything sufficiently important relevant to achieving peace, and he doesn't deserve to be listed in the company of others because he doesn't done anything sufficiently negative by the same criteria) ---- This isn't a case like with Krugman's nobel, of not liking the person or agreeing with his opinions, but recognizing legitimate work in the understanding of international trade. Krugman was a legitimate contender for the prize.
