Einstein was a republican. He didn't like war and Dems started WW1 and WW 2

By most accounts his letters were highly influential and some attribute to them the very genesis of the Manhattan Project. While it was a long road and a lot had to happen, there probably wasn't a more influential person on earth on this subject at the time.

Which was the point of having it signed by Einstein even though some other guy whose name I can't remember substantially composed the letter.
