I still can't believe that those Nobel morons had the cojones to dishonor an American President by giving him a so visibly undeserved prize. Will be interesting to see how he handles it. One appropriate step among many would be to fire that State dept. idiot mentioned in this article. But... I'm afraid it will be a mixed picture... at best. edit... The man gets elected green, without any needed background and experience... now they give him the prize - as an "advance", on a smile and a promise. This world is seriously nuts.

I recently took it upon myself to clean out the attic. Among the stuff up there were all of the trophies my sons had received when they were young. Of course we all know kids get trophies just for showing up and playing the game, and they played on lots of teams in lots of games so we had quite a few of them. I don't want these trophies cluttering my attic any longer, so I asked each one of them if they would like to take them home. Neither one of them did, so off to the garbage can they went. The Nobel Prize has become as irrelevant as those trophies. Excellent rant you posted.
