Yeah I hear ya. Last winter full ice I hit brakes very lightly and they locked slid into intersection at low speed. I was not happy as I was ready and thought I prepared.

speed is the biggest factor imo...last year i counted 14 4x4 suv's in the ditch on the parkway and 2 regular cars on edge of roadway...all either sideways some distance of the road, to roll overs, to turned 180 degrees facing oncoming traffic...
all this in a 20 minute drive! LOL!
