Their interests are contrary to those of Americans. Krauthammer is an Israeli first, and an American a very distant second. No, he's American. He is extremely bright, however -- I do not think there is a single liberal who is on his intellectual level. I surely can't think of one. He'd have us NUKE Tehran, for Israel. Well, it is possible a nuclear weapon will be necessary to knock out Iran's nuclear facilities. If they're going to bury them that deep, that's the risk they take. America IS declining, but not for the reason you and Krauthammer cite. We're declining from following right wing ideologies the last 30 years, starting with Reagan. That, combined with right wing contempt for education and intelligence in general, and we may not survive. Bush did an unintended Pearl Harbor on our economy by following wingnut ideology rather than common sense, and he may have done us in. I think you're entitled to your opinion, regardless of how ignorant and uninformed it may be. There is, of course, no support whatsoever for your claim.
