It's just such a no-brainer. Other countries are doing it. It's the best investment we could make in our future. America has another problem in the developmental stage. Minority males....blacks and Latinos......are dropping out of high schools in record levels. As I've pointed out before, only a quarter of all black males graduate high school. Very few go on to college. As minorities become a larger and larger percentage of the population, that's going to become a bigger and bigger problem for our industries.......even as minority women are increasing their numbers in college.
