There was a time when I trusted completely any data that came from reputable government sources such as NOAA (who was one of my customers in a previous life.) Today I find that so many of our leaders and our government bureaucrats have lied to us and misrepresented things and have been corrupted that I am now skeptical of everything the government says.

This is a sad state of affairs, but that is just the way it is. Credibility is earned and lost based on performance.

IMO, if global warming IS primarily caused by CO2 emissions, it will only be solved by dwindling supplies of crude, rising oil prices, and the move to alternate energy sources.
