When there is no animus between individuals, they have peace with one another. Animus goes with territory Earth. That's why it's much easier to get along with strangers who share one or a two common interests than it is with one's family members and neighbors who've had lots of involvement with each other and who usually share multiple interests. The two strangers haven't had time to entangle their interests to a point of disputation, so they can easily claim peace and friendship around their interests. When we are reconciled so that a person sees his/her needs being met absolutely and with just dispensation, while every other individual simultaneously comes to the same conclusion, we will agree that we are at peace with one another. Politicians are known for proclaiming themselves to be champions of peace. The most fierce terrorists in the world are also the most likely to be claiming their end cause to be world peace. Since, by the nature of their role, politicians must have a platform that intends to defeat or subdue rival political groups, such proclamations are usually suspect. Peace is subject to circumstance and the circumstance of world groups is constantly changing, which necessarily requires constant modifications and accommodations of those impacted by such changes. If you were to create a world order to manage every corner of the globe and required pacifism from all human beings, you would end up with a very oppressive management system and a large number of very depressed individuals, who would not view their needs as being met with just dispensation. Lacking an agreed upon order, you have no terms upon which to establish a condition of peace. In the conventional sense then, the idea of world peace is an illusion. Peace is a local issue not a global issue. How do you imagine anyone managing the world in a peaceful manner? The relatively few participants on this thread have not even found a way to interact peaceably, and you claim to be running things here. What political solution do you imagine having more success on a world wide basis?
