I am a believer in an "all of the above" approach. My engineering mind always focuses on what can be done in terms of time. Conversion of fleets to natural gas - particularly municipal buses - seems to be a quick and easy action. There are already NG powered buses driving around the Cleveland area. A big move here would be expanding an initial capability. As many of the bus companies are financially strapped - sadly - more government money would be needed.

I note that nuclear power keeps getting more discussion. The Kerry-Graham bill is an example.

Nuclear power is also a key component of the low cost figures so loudly touted for cap and trade impact.
