I've been watching football for 40 years and never heard public comments about a potential owner like that before. Rush has made quite a name for himself, LOL. Nowadays in the NFL the good players are also multimillionaires so a fat-ass fatcat zillionaire like Limbaugh no longer has the sway over players that the old generation of owners did. Buying a team where every decent free agent jumps ship won't do the franchise any good. I suspect these players made their view known early in the process so Rush's buyers group gets weeded out of the bidding process early.
