There would be multiple Constitutional challenges filed 10 minutes after such a bill was signed. If the SCourt oks this then there is NOTHING congress can't do. Sorry Ben, we couldn't keep your Republic.

I can't see any major health bill coming out of the Congress now.

I wish I could agree with that, LB. IMO Congress will pass something before Christmas, it will be expensive, it will increase the deficit both short and long term, and it will get us closer to government controlled and run health care.

Oh, and of course it will be bad for providers, insurers, and the majority of Americans.

That's pretty much a clean sweep for a bill advertised as "fixing" health care.
